All services offered by the Psychological and Counseling Support Center are free of charge and include:

Individual Psychological Support

Personalized one-on-one support from mental health professionals to assist students and staff to manage personal and academic challenges.

Group Counseling

Theme-focused group sessions on mental health issues and interpersonal relationships, aimed at strengthening psychological and social well-being.

Mental Health Prevention Programs

Awareness campaigns, workshops, and educational seminars designed to prevent mental health difficulties and promote well-being.

Self-Awareness and Interpersonal Skills Development

Experiential workshops and seminars that enhance self-confidence, personal growth, and effective communication, providing participants with tools to better manage emotions and build healthy relationships.

Peer-to-Peer and Community Support Initiatives

Encouraging student-led support networks and volunteer activities that foster social solidarity and community engagement in both the university and the wider community.

Assessment of Psychosocial Needs

Systematic research and analysis of the psychological and social needs of students, faculty, and administrative staff at the University of Crete.

Collaboration with the Equal Access Unit and Other University Services

Working closely with university departments to ensure equality in the access of services and promote the inclusion of individuals with disabilities or special educational needs.

Partnerships with National and International Counseling Centers

Developing networks with similar centers in Greece and abroad to develop services based on best practices and to continuously improve service quality.
