The University of Crete as a place for the production of Knowledge and Research, but also for the promotion of Education in general, has received within its 40 years of operation, either from individuals or from institutions, many Donations and Sponsorships sometimes in money and sometimes in kind as well as several endowments.

Its competent services ensure that Donations, Sponsorships and legacies are implemented and managed immediately and efficiently based on the wishes of the testator. Most of them concern scholarships for undergraduate and postgraduate students, others the strengthening of the educational and research process and others the promotion of the Foundation.

The University itself, through its experience and its desire for the further development of education, research and the promotion of its work, has identified its needs and has set its priorities. Purpose, to strengthen the role that society is called upon to perform in today’s difficult and demanding times.
