University Gym
Τhe University Gym has a fully equipped cardiorespiratory and muscle strengthening equipment room and many different sports groups to choose from.
The Psychological & Counseling Support Center of UoC is committed to the mental health and wellbeing of all members of the university community by:
- Providing individual and group psychological and counseling support to members who face personal challenges; helping them develop skills for managing and resolving difficulties.
- Designing and implementing programs that provide responsive and effective support, education, and mental health care for students, faculty and administrative staff.
The Accessibility Center for individuals with disabilities at the University of Crete” has as its mission to ensure the full participation of members of the university community who are disabled and people with special educational needs in all educational, research and administrative activities carried out at the University of Crete.
Most of Rethymnon’s Student societies and cultural clubs are located in “Student steki”, in the heart of Rethymnon’s old town (82, N. Foka st). This is a lively culture hub for the entire town as it is inclusive and open to all people who wish to participate. The Music Society and the Blood Donation Group use on–campus facilities. Musical, theatrical and social events take place either on campus, or in the city in public places such as the Municipal Gardens, the Conservatory or the House of Civilization.
The Welcome Office of the UoC: Provides assistance regarding visas and residence permits and guidance on practical issues and everyday life in Crete.
The Department of International Relations. International students (especially within the framework of Erasmus+ programme) and promotes the internationalization strategy of the UoC through partnerships and MoUs
The Restaurant provides its services to all members of the University studying and working on the Campus. Student cards provide special discounts on meals.
