The Center of Greek and Chinese Ancient Civilizations (KELKIP) of the University of Crete is co-organizing the International Symposium “Grief and mourning in a global world: cross-cultural reflections”, on 29–30 August, 2025, at Spyros Stefanou Estate, Kampos, Chios.

Distinguished scholars from universities in Greece and abroad will discuss philosophical, social, and cultural aspects of grief and mourning, tracing their historical origins and their relevance in today’s world.

• Film screening of “The Answer to Forever” by Zheng Yunchang, in collaboration with Cinephil.101 / Cine Club Chios
