14th Panhellenic Archaeology Students’ Conference – Open Event for International Women’s Day

The 14th Panhellenic Archaeology Students’ Conference is organizing an open event on Saturday, March 7, in honor of International Women’s Day. The event will take place at the Student Cultural Center “XENIA” (46 Psarrou St.) and will also be available online via teams.

We invite you to join us for an evening dedicated to the presence and contribution of women in research, education, and culture, featuring talks by distinguished academics and researchers.

Speakers:

  • Katerina Kopaka, Archaeologist, Professor of Prehistoric Archaeology, University of Crete
  • Antonia Lourentzaki & Rachel Milio, TALOS ERA Chair in AI for SSH (Artificial Intelligence for the Humanities and Social Sciences), University of Crete
  • Katerina Dalakoura, Associate Professor of History of Education and Gender, University of Crete
  • Yvon Alexia Kosma, Assistant Professor of Sociology of Culture, University of Crete

At the same time, a Book Exhibition will be held at the venue, offering everyone the opportunity to actively support this student initiative and discover a selection of interesting books.
