The University of Crete is pleased to announce its official membership in the UNIMED (Mediterranean Universities Union) network, one of the leading organizations fostering cooperation among universities across the Mediterranean region.

The University of Crete’s admission to UNIMED was approved following the institution’s application and marks another significant step in strengthening its international presence and advancing its strategic commitment to internationalization, collaboration, and academic excellence.

UNIMED is an extensive network of universities and research organizations from Mediterranean countries and beyond, dedicated to promoting academic cooperation, student and staff mobility, research and innovation, and addressing shared social and environmental challenges through higher education.
