Ανακοινώνεται η παράταση της προθεσμίας υποβολής αιτήσεων για τη συμμετοχή στις Εξετάσεις Πιστοποίησης Ελληνομάθειας έως τις 29 Μαρτίου 2026.

Υπενθυμίζεται ότι το Πανεπιστήμιο Κρήτης λειτουργεί ως πιστοποιημένο Εξεταστικό Κέντρο Πιστοποίησης Ελληνομάθειας (Κωδικός Κέντρου: 30026), κατόπιν επίσημης έγκρισης από το Κέντρο Ελληνικής Γλώσσας, τον αρμόδιο εθνικό φορέα για την πιστοποίηση της ελληνομάθειας. Η έγκριση αυτή αποτελεί σημαντική θεσμική αναγνώριση και ανανεώνεται σε ετήσια βάση.

Οι εξετάσεις για την περίοδο Μαΐου 2026 θα πραγματοποιηθούν στο Ρέθυμνο, στο Εργαστήριο Γλωσσικής Ανάπτυξης και Γλωσσικής Επεξεργασίας του Τμήματος Φιλολογίας, και θα περιλαμβάνουν τόσο γραπτές όσο και προφορικές δοκιμασίες.

Η λειτουργία Εξεταστικού Κέντρου Πιστοποίησης Ελληνομάθειας ενισχύει ουσιαστικά τη διεθνή παρουσία και τη στρατηγική εξωστρέφειας του Πανεπιστημίου Κρήτης, παρέχοντας σε αλλοδαπούς φοιτητές/τριες, ερευνητές/τριες και κάθε ενδιαφερόμενο τη δυνατότητα απόκτησης επίσημης πιστοποίησης της γνώσης της ελληνικής γλώσσας, σύμφωνα με διεθνώς αναγνωρισμένα πρότυπα.

Η εξέλιξη αυτή εντάσσεται στον ευρύτερο ρόλο του Πανεπιστημίου Κρήτης ως ακαδημαϊκού ιδρύματος που προάγει τη διδασκαλία και τη διάδοση της ελληνικής γλώσσας και του πολιτισμού, ενώ παράλληλα ενισχύει την ακαδημαϊκή κινητικότητα σε διεθνές επίπεδο.

Application Deadline Extended to March 29 for the Certificate of Attainment in Greek Examinations

An extension of the application deadline for participation in the Certificate of Attainment in Greek examinations has been announced, with the new deadline set for March 29, 2026.

The University of Crete serves as a certified Examination Center for the Certificate of Attainment in Greek (Center ID: 30026), following official approval by the Centre for the Greek Language, the national authority responsible for the certification of Greek language proficiency. This approval constitutes an important institutional recognition and is renewed on an annual basis.

The May 2026 examination session will take place in Rethymno, hosted by the Language Acquisition and Processing Laboratory (LAP-Lab at UoC) of the Department of Philology, and will include both written and oral components.

The operation of an Examination Center for the certification of Greek language proficiency significantly enhances international outreach, offering international students, researchers, and other interested individuals the opportunity to obtain an official certification of Greek language competence in accordance with internationally recognized standards.

This development is in line with the broader mission of the University of Crete to promote the dissemination of the Greek language and culture, while further strengthening the local international community.
