The 6th Summer School of Linguistics at the
University of Crete (CreteLing2024) has successfully begun! Organized by the
Linguistics section of the Department of Philology at the University of Crete,
under the leadership of Prof. Vina Tsakali (University of Crete) and Prof.Sabine
Iatridou (Massachusetts Institute of Technology), the event is taking place at
the Gallos Campus in Rethymno from July 13th to 26th, 2024.

CreteLing2024 offers 21 diverse courses and
seminars in theoretical linguistics and interdisciplinary fields such as
computational linguistics, neurolinguistics, and psycholinguistics. The summer
school aims to create an interactive learning and collaborative environment for
students and researchers from various scientific domains, promoting
interdisciplinary research and the exchange of ideas.

CreteLing has established itself as a
significant international academic event, attracting distinguished professors
and researchers from leading universities worldwide. Participation is free for
University of Crete students, and scholarships are available for students from
