The Munster Statement on the Principles of Research Ethics and Research Integrity (MARIE) was launched in a hybrid event at Munster Technological University (MTU). MARIE is a collaborative project funded by INGENIUM, bringing together academics from all member universities of the alliance and integrating expertise across multiple disciplines. Professor Vasiliki Petousi, from the Dept. of Sociology, has participated in the MARIE project and the launch of The Munster Statement.

In today’s Higher Education landscape, there’s a growing emphasis on fostering good research practices—across the entire spectrum, from fundamental research to applied projects and commercialization.

The Munster Statement outlines the principles of RE and RI, along with the closely related terms research misconduct and unacceptable research practices, aligned  across  INGENIUM.
