Athens MA in Ancient Philosophy and Princeton Athens Center for Research and Hellenic Studies Workshop Plato’s Laws
Continuing its collaboration with the Princeton Athens Center for Research and Hellenic Studies for the second consecutive year, the interinstitutional program Athens MA in Ancient Philosophy (https://athensma.phs.uoa.gr/) is hosting its activities at the Princeton Athens Center (https://hellenic.princeton.edu/princeton-athens-center).
The keynote speaker of this year’s meeting was Melissa Lane, a distinguished professor of ancient political philosophy at Princeton University. Three members of the U. of Crete (Chloe Balla and Eleni Kaklamanou, Department of Philosophy, Laboratory for Philosophical Research and Translation, also organizers of the workshop; Zacharoula Petraki, Department of Philology) presented work-in-progress on various aspects of Plato’s dialogue.
