The Department of History and Archaeology of the
University of Crete organises the Seventh Biennial Conference of the
Society for the Medieval Mediterranean, with the theme Interruptions
and Disruptions  in the Medieval Mediterranean, 400-1500.

The Conference, which is dedicated to the academic
study of Mediterranean history and culture, will take place
from Monday 11 to Friday 15 July 2022, and will be hosted in the
Lecture Rooms of the Faculty of Letters at the Rethymno University
Campus. The Keynote Lecture of Wednesday 13 July will be hosted by the
Institute for Mediterranean Studies (Nikephorou Phoka 130, Old
Town, Rethymno).
