Congratulations to George
Karathanasopoulos, student of the department of Materials Science &
Technology, who is the only Greek student selected for the ”Space Station Design
Workshop” at the University of Stuttgart.
At the ”Space Station Design Workshop”, participants learn and practice Systems Engineering, while this year they
were assigned to create a lunar economy. George with his expertise in Material
Science, was part of the team that designed the process of extracting water,
silicon and aluminium from lunar surface.
