Members of the Department of Philosophy participating in the research project “Falsehood and Deception in Plato” (scientific supervisor Eleni Kaklamanou) presented the results of their research at the regular triennial Conference of the International Plato Society, which took place from May 5 to 9 at the Complutense University of Madrid.
Postdoctoral researcher Lia Theodoroudi received one of the Cornelia de Vogel Prizes for the best paper by a young researcher—a distinction that highlights both her scholarly excellence and the growing international recognition of the University of Crete’s research contributions in the field of philosophy. Furthermore, following a proposal submitted by the research project members, the Society’s General Assembly agreed to assign the organization of the next conference to the Department of Philosophy of the University of Crete.
