The University of
Crete is ranked 94th in the2023 «THE
– Young University Rankings»
and first among the Greek Universities that participate. The Times Higher Education Young University Rankings list the
world’s best universities that are 50 years old or younger using 13 performance
indicators for teaching, research, knowledge transfer and international outlook. This is the twelfth and last year that UoC
participates and despite the increased number of universities assessed this
year, the University of Crete is ranked among the 100 best new institutions
worldwide.
