On Friday 17 March 2023, the Rector of the
University of Crete, Professor George Μ.Kontakis, welcomed the Senior Trade Commissioner
Mr. Neil Swain and the Trade Commissioner Assistant Ms. Maria – Louise Economou
of the Embassy of Canada. The meeting was also attended by the Vice-Rector for
Academic Affairs, Lifelong Learning, International Relations & Outlook,
Professor George Kossioris, the Vice-Rector for Research & Development,
Professor Michail Pavlidis and the Acting Head of the Department of
International & Public Relations, Heraklion, Ms.Antonia Tzanaki. University
of Crete presented the innovations and the international collaborations that
has established, while there were discussions for development of future
partnerships in areas of common interest.
