The STUDENT COUNSELING CENTER of the University of Crete warmly invites you to the VOLUNTEER INFORMATION & AWARENESS EVENT in HERAKLION on Tuesday, October 31, 2023.

The Student Counseling Center encourages all university students to become active members of both the academic community and the city they live in by participating in volunteer groups. In this regard, it collaborates with organizations that provide services to vulnerable groups, allowing students the opportunity to offer voluntary work.

Collaborations for the academic year 2023-2024 include:

– Child Protection Annex of the Social Welfare Center of the Crete Region

– SOS Children’s Village Crete

– “The Smile of the Child” in Heraklion

– Regional Union of the Blind of Crete

Interested students are urged to attend a special session on TUESDAY, OCTOBER 31, 2023, at 11:00 am at the premises of the Student Counseling Center (located in the Student Center Building, Voutes Campus). This will be a unique opportunity to learn about these programs from the members of the Student Counseling Center and the representatives of the aforementioned organizations.
