The International Relations Department of the University of Crete successfully organized the 3rd Erasmus+ Staff Week (KA131) and, in collaboration with the International and Public Relations Department of the University of Piraeus and the International Mobility Group (Erasmus+ KA171), co-hosted the 5th International Staff Week at the University of Crete from May 25–29, 2026.

The event brought together administrative and academic staff from higher education institutions around the world, providing a dynamic platform for professional development, knowledge exchange, and international networking. Through a series of workshops, presentations, and collaborative discussions, participants explored current trends and best practices in internationalization, mobility programs, and higher education cooperation.

The Staff Week further strengthened the University of Crete’s international partnerships and reaffirmed its commitment to fostering intercultural dialogue, enhancing institutional collaboration, and supporting the goals of the Erasmus+ program. The initiative also contributed to the University’s broader strategy of promoting international engagement and creating opportunities for meaningful professional exchange among higher education professionals.
