5th International Conference on School Psychology at the University of Crete: Global School Psychology, Resilience, and Well-Being

The University of Crete and the School Psychology Laboratory of the Department of Preschool Education are organizing the 5th International Conference on School Psychology. The conference will focus on the theme “Global School Psychology, Resilience and Well-Being in the Context of Schools, Families and Communities.”

Scheduled for Thursday, May 21, 2026, from 9:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., the event will take place in person at the D7 Auditorium on Gallos Campus of the University of Crete in Rethymno, with online participation available via Zoom.

All presentations will be delivered in English.

The program features distinguished academics, researchers, and practitioners from leading institutions around the world, including Michael Ungar (Canada), Vassilis Kassis (Switzerland), Olympia Palikara (United Kingdom), and Chris Perakis Evloyias (Greece). Additional online presentations will be delivered by prominent experts in the field, including Linda Theron (South Africa), Kristen Vargas (United States), and Froma Walsh (United States).

The conference is supported by the Erasmus Mundus Joint Master’s Program FLOURISH (Resilience in Educational Contexts), the Region of Crete and the Hellenic Association of School Psychology.

The event will conclude with a musical performance by renowned Cretan artist Vasilis Skoulas.

Certificates of attendance will be awarded to all participants at the end of the conference.
