The annual TEDxUniversityOfCrete event was once again held with great success, continuing a seven-year tradition. This year’s event, themed “ITHAKA,” took place on Saturday, May 9, at the N. Petridis Auditorium of the Department of Mathematics and Applied Mathematics at the University of Crete.

Organized primarily by students and alumni of the University of Crete, the event was made possible through the valuable support of the Region of Crete, K. Badouvas Group, and Lidl. This year’s theme invited attendees to embark on an inner journey of exploration, one that goes beyond the boundaries of the familiar and leads to a deeper understanding of the self.

Participants had the opportunity to attend thought-provoking and inspiring talks, as well as captivating performances on the TEDxUniversityOfCrete stage. During the breaks, they were able to take part in unique workshops and discover a variety of parallel activities located throughout the venue.

As they explored the event space, attendees also found areas offering coffee, snacks, drinks, and a full meal to suit every preference.

Finally, everyone who attended received a gift bag filled with a variety of presents, ensuring that no one left empty-handed.
