INGENIUM Secures Two More Years of Erasmus+ Funding for Its Next Phase

The European Commission has selected the Next INGENIUM proposal under the Erasmus+ European Universities call, extending funding for the alliance until December 2028.

This decision marks an important milestone for INGENIUM, as the alliance moves from its initial phase of building cooperation toward a new period of deeper integration, as envisioned by its ten member universities.

This new phase comes at a particularly important moment for the alliance. INGENIUM has already launched its first accredited joint master’s program, developed twelve pathway programs, and is finalizing the registration of its own legal entity.

The ambitions of INGENIUM extend beyond the current funding period. By 2035, the alliance aims to operate as a single European University with a presence across ten locations, featuring unified academic processes, expanded mobility opportunities, joint qualifications that will help address Europe’s skills needs, and a permanent legal entity that will ensure the continuation of its work beyond each funding cycle.
