The European University INGENIUM, in collaboration with partner higher education institutions, invites participants to the webinar “ESG Frameworks and EU Regulatory Context (CSRD, EU Taxonomy)”, taking place on July 21, 2026, at 12:00 EEST (UTC+3).

The webinar will explore the European Union’s ESG regulatory framework, with a particular focus on the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) and the EU Taxonomy. Participants will gain insights into how ESG principles can be integrated into business strategies, particularly for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), with the goal of creating long-term business value.

Representing the University of Crete, Professor Constantine Manasakis and PhD student Nikolaos Moraitakis will deliver the session “Embedding ESG within SMEs’ Strategy: From Sustainability Commitments to Business Value”. Their presentation will include a case study, demonstrating how sustainability and ESG principles can be successfully integrated into corporate strategy to create long-term shared value.
