The Laboratory of Philosophical Research and Translation of UCRC at the World Congress of Philosophy
The Laboratory of Philosophical Research and Translation of UCRC (participated in the World Congress of Philosophy, which took place at Sapienza University of Rome during the first week of August, with two ’round tables.’ Highlighting the work of its collaborators and the research themes of KELKIP, the first round table was titled “Ancient Greek and Chinese Philosophy: Comparative Approaches,” while the second focused on the relationship of Ludwig Wittgenstein with the concept of philosophy as an art of living (“Wittgenstein’s Philosophy as a Way of Life”). The initiative and coordination for the two round tables were led by members of the laboratory (Chloe Balla and Maria Venieri, respectively), while Stelios Virvidakis, visiting professor at PK (Micheli position, Department of Philosophy, for the academic year 2024-25), participated in both.
