Μετακίνηση για Διδασκαλία στο Πανεπιστήμιο της Σορβόννης
13 - 17 Μαϊου 2019
I got my PhD in Ancient Greek Literature from the University of Paris-Sorbonne in 2007. Twelve years later, in May 2019, I was happy to return to my alma mater as a University Professor through the Erasmus programme.
The University of Paris-Sorbonne has a long tradition in Classical Studies, with several research groups working on various aspects of ancient civilisations and many students on all levels (undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral). During my stay in Paris I taught and lectured at Paris-Sorbonne (UFR de Grec) on topics related to my research interests: Greek historiography, history of ideas, Xenophon. I had very useful feedback from both students and colleagues. This visit also gave me the opportunity to enhance my collaboration with the French University: I became affiliated member of the research group EDITTA and, together with French colleagues of Paris-Sorbonne, we set up common projects. It is expected that in the framework of this collaboration French colleagues will also visit the University of Crete, which will be of great benefit for the mutual exchanges between the two institutions.
